Every patient is a unique individual with different preferences about patient care. It is my goal to treat each individual patient. Our office is small and personal; we don't have voice mail or an answering service. If you need to reach Dr. Reuss after hours you can reach him on his cell phone. It is our goal that each patient receives the same level of care that we ourselves want to receive in OUR doctor's office.
In keeping with this goal, Dr. Reuss schedules adequate time with each patient to discuss her concerns. He always sees his patients fully dressed in the consultation room before and after the exam to address their concerns and answer their questions. Patients should, if they like, bring with them any information they would like Dr. Reuss to discuss. Friends or family members are welcome to accompany the patient during consultation.
It is my belief that the doctor-patient relationship is an active partnership. Only by fully answering all questions and discussing all alternatives, can a patient make a fully informed choice regarding her healthcare.
In case of significant problems after office hours, patients can reach Dr. Reuss directly on his cell phone. This accessibility is reassuring to both the patient and her family when significant obstetrical or gynecological problems arise outside of regular work hours.
